Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how From The Scope ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information obtained from visitors to fromthescope.com and users of the Services, as that term is defined in the Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide when you run a scan or request a report: the domain submitted, the findings of the check, and the contact details you provide (name and email address). We do not request or collect passwords, administrative credentials, or any information that requires access to your systems.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to perform the check you requested, deliver your report by email, respond to inquiries, and follow up regarding orders you have placed. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not use submitted domains to send unsolicited marketing.
4. Payment Processing
Payments are processed entirely by third-party payment processors, including Gumroad. We do not collect, receive, or store payment card information. The privacy practices of those processors govern the payment data they hold.
5. Data Storage and Analytics
Form submissions are processed by Formspree. Order records are retained for fulfillment and follow-up purposes. We use Cloudflare's privacy-preserving analytics, which does not use cookies or create cross-site tracking profiles.
6. Data Retention
Order records are retained as reasonably necessary to fulfill orders, respond to inquiries, and maintain business records. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by writing to [email protected]. We will honor requests except where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version posted at this page at any given time is the version in effect. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
